It was a great day of service & community as Play For Patrick visited the home of the Bears this last Saturday!
 
We screened 153 kids and trained 138 kids/parents how to perform hands only CPR and use an AED.  Our findings (22% of those screened) are as follows:

Significant finds: 4

• Dilated cardiomyopathy: 1
• Bicuspid aortic valve: 2
• Wolf-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome: 1

 
Additional finds: 30

• Hypertension: 19 
• ECG abnormality/variants: 8 
• Minor valvular disorders: 3 
  • Mild-mod pulmonic insufficiency: 1
  • Trace aortic insufficiency: 1
  • Mitral valve prolapse: 1
