Keeping with our tradition of trying to save lives, the Patrick Schoonover Heart Foundation donated an AED to Rosemount High School on Saturday.  Eastview Athletic Trainer Mairead Griffin @mkgriffin07 accepted it on behalf of @Irish_Athletics Trainer Ashley Rust.

Our sonographers are simply the best - and – we are able to provide them the best equipment available thanks to Jason Anderson and his team @PhilipsNA.  Jason and his team, for the 13th time, came through for us and once again loaned 4-CX50 ultrasound units for the day.  Thank you!

Screening young hearts, CPR-AED training and well-placed AED’s will save lives. From August 2015‐October 2018 the Patrick Schoonover Heart Foundation conducted 13 Play for Patrick youth heart screens. Screened 2,466 kids, found 131 high blood pressure with repeated check, 197 with abnormal electrical or structural heart defects, many of those life threatening and requiring immediate follow up & treatment, taught 2,317 kids & adults CPR and how to use an AED and donated 4 AEDs to area High Schools.
